People eating people
I thought the story about the rugby (i think it was?) team was very intersting. I would say right now I could never eat a human being. However, if i was in the situation those people were in, I would probably join the pack and chow down. If there is NO food and we are all starving to death, I wouuld consume whatever I can to survive. I dont think i could ever eat a friend though. That sounds morally wrong to me. Friends and family would be off limit. However, if it was a stranger, I would be grossed out but still eat it.

I am of the same opinion. I could eat a stranger but not somebody I know. Even after a person is dead, if you look at their body it is almost as if you can remember the person who lived in it. I would feel like I was eating my friend's soul not just their body. However, if it was a stranger I had no attachment, I think the extenuating circumstances would lead me to cannibalism.
i agree that i would never be able to eat family or close friends, but total strangers in this situation would be tolerable.
